1) Acceptance
By creating an account or using IWantToHelp (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2) Eligibility & Account
- You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with these Terms.
- You are responsible for your account activity; keep your credentials secure.
3) Plans, Billing & Taxes
- Plans: Free, Paid, and Premium (see pricing in-app).
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details.
- Applicable taxes (e.g., GST/HST/QST) are added where required.
- You can upgrade/downgrade any time in the Billing Portal; changes may be prorated per Stripe settings.
- We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
4) Cancellation & Termination
- You may cancel at any time in the Billing Portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
5) Acceptable Use
No illegal activity, harassment, spamming, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt the Service. You must have rights to the content you submit.
6) Intellectual Property
We retain all rights in the Service. You retain rights to your content; you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process it to operate the Service.
7) Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third parties (e.g., Stripe). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
8) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Availability is not guaranteed; features may change.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or three (3) months of fees you paid to us for the Service.
10) Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
11) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated date and, where material changes occur, provide notice. Continued use means acceptance.
12) Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada. Venue is Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada.
13) Language
These Terms are available in English and French. In Québec, the French version prevails in case of inconsistency; elsewhere, the English version prevails.
